Do Gynecomastia Drugs Exist?

Did you know that many men have gynecomastia and don’t know it? It is estimated that somewhere between 40% and 60% of men currently have the condition or have had it at one point in their life or another. There are all kinds of reasons why men get gynecomastia, but most of the time, a doctor won’t be able to tell you why you have it. They will just give you some generic reasons that they get from a medical diagnosis book. In this article, I will be discussing gynecomastia drugs.

One of the main ways to get rid of gynecomastia is surgery. Plastic surgeons love to tell you about surgery, because that’s more money in their pocket. Let’s think outside of the box here for a moment. Could there possibly be an alternative to surgery? Are there any gynecomastia drugs?

The answer is: Yes, there are gynecomastia drugs.

During my own personal research, I learned about this drug called tamoxifen. Tamoxifen is primarily used to treat breast cancer. Tamoxifen works by competitively binding to estrogen receptors on tumors and other tissue targets, thereby producing a nuclear complex that decreases DNA synthesis and inhibits estrogen effects. Since gynecomastia is caused by extra estrogen in the male body, tamoxifen can be used successfully to limit breast growth caused by the estrogen.

Unfortunately, tamoxifen has a very bad potential side effect. Medical studies have shown that it is a carcinogen. Therefore, you could potentially get cancer if you take it. Also, it is known to decrease libido. Another potential side effect is a decrease in your libido. Your only chance of getting tamoxifen is through a doctor, so consult one if you have more questions about the drug. Fortunately, there are natural supplements that you can use as an alternative to gynecomastia drugs. Visit the site below to learn more.

Can Anyone Tell Me A Way To Loose Them The Natural Way Without Drugs Or Surgery (I Dont Do Any Drugz And Not Willing Too)

Don’t listen to what the negative people are saying. You said nothing about your weight and they are being too judgmental. Gynecomastia is EXTREMELY common in boys going through puberty, and has been reported to show up in a whopping 70% of boys.

It usually goes away eventually. Many cases it’s gone in months to a year. What happens is that testosterone levels are higher, but some of it can be converted to estradiol which is responsible for the growth in the breast area. It is more often seen in yes, those with more fat mass. I don’t know about your weight or body habitus, so this is just info in case you find it useful.

So far there really isn’t successful treatment in getting rid of persistent gynecomastia except for surgery, but keep in mind that most cases go away on their own, especially once you are done with puberty. There are medications that are postulated, but how effective they are is still being researched, e.g. tamoxifen (an anti-estrogen), dihydrotestosterone, testolactone.

Sorry, I know that is not what the answer you were looking for, but its all I found :( . You can ask your doctor for the most complete answer, but my guess is that s/he will say it’s a natural part of puberty and s/he will monitor you over the years to see if it will resolve on its own first. If not, then treatment options will be discussed.
